Cummins leadership shifts

Cummins Inc.’s engine plant near Jamestown has had a change in leadership.

Plant manager David Porter has taken a new position with Cummins, as director of high horsepower oil and gas, at its corporate offices in Columbus, Indiana. He led the Jamestown site for about two and a half years.

Mike Abbate will serve as interim plant manager at the Jamestown site until the position is filled permanently, said Jon Mills, a Cummins spokesman.
