NEWFANE – At least one person needed to be extricated from a vehicle following a crash just after 1:30 p.m. today at Lockport-Olcott and Dale roads.
Two vehicles and a tractor-trailer were involved in the 1:40 p.m. crash, according to Niagara County sheriff dispatchers
Lockport-Olcott Road (Route 78) between Dale and McKee roads was closed to traffic as emergency crews responded and reopened about 90 minutes later.
At least one person was transported to Eastern Niagara Hospital in Newfane. The extent of injuries was not immediately known, but police said they appeared to be minor.
Miller Hose Volunteer Fire Department was called to the scene.
