JAMESTOWN – The 10th Annual Thunder in the Streets motorcycle rally and the 21st annual Downtown Cruisin’ car show again will be held in conjunction with each other Aug. 16 in downtown Jamestown.
Thunder in the Streets will run from noon to 11 p.m. in Renaissance Square, West Third and Lafayette streets, with live music by Two for Flinching, Coal Train and the Bogarts.
Team FMX will stage professional stunt riding shows at 3, 5:30 and 9 p.m. on West Third Street. There also will be a beverage garden and food and novelty vendors.
A ride around Chautauqua Lake to benefit 4-H programs will begin at 2:45 p.m. from the parking lot of Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 865 at 41 Bigelow Ave. Fee is $5 per rider and passenger.
Downtown Cruisin’ runs from 5 to 11 p.m. on several downtown streets, which will begin to close at 3 p.m. to accommodate hundreds of show vehicles.
