Join me at 7 p.m. for a live blog of the Amherst Town Board meeting. Not too many big-ticket items on the agenda, but we may see some passionate public comments.
The family of Erin Suszynski, the 13-year-old girl who was killed crossing Maple Road last year, is expected to address the board. They are trying to get crosswalks installed at that site.
The family, which is suing the town and the county, says it is having a hard time getting answers on the crosswalks, despite the fact that a group raised $85,000 toward the safety devices. We'll see what happens at 7 p.m.
