Discussion set on ‘Future of City of Buffalo’

SUNY Buffalo State will end its Year of the City series with a discussion that will speculate on various aspects of the city’s future.

“The Future of the City of Buffalo” will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday in the Burchfield Penney Art Center auditorium. Scheduled to take part in the discussion are Howard Zemsky, managing partner of Taurus Capital; Donn Esmonde, an award-winning columnist for The Buffalo News; Fillmore Council Member David A. Franczyk; North Council Member Joseph Golombek Jr.; Jill Jedlicka, executive director of Buffalo Niagara Riverkeeper; and Eric Walker, co-founder of PUSH Buffalo.

Mark Severson, dean of the School of Natural and Social Sciences at Buffalo State, will serve as the master of ceremonies.

The event is free and open to the public.
