The nights are bright for the holidays on Buffalo’s West Side as a coalition of block clubs holds its fifth annual Neighborhood Festival of Lights, a competition to see whose home is the most festive. Judging began last week.
Participating are the five block clubs of the Prospect Hill Neighborhood Alliance – Cottage District, Fargo Estate, Armory Hill, Kleinhans and Columbus Park – which includes homes from Richmond Avenue to the Peace Bridge.
The festival continues through Jan. 6. Photos and a map are available at the Facebook page for Neighborhood Festival of Lights.
