The stairways will be alive Saturday morning in One HSBC Center as downtown Buffalo’s tallest building hosts the American Lung Association’s Third Annual Fight for Air Climb.
Participants will be challenged to climb all 800 steps to the 38th floor of the tower to raise awareness of lung diseases and raise funds for research, prevention and cure. The climb begins at 10 a.m. Registration for individuals and teams is available by visiting www.climbofyourlife.org.
The Fight for Air Climb includes a Firefighters Challenge, in which firefighters race in full turnout gear.
