The Gen. Pulaski Association will install officers at its annual dinner Friday night in the Millennium Hotel on Walden Avenue, Cheektowaga.
The speaker will be the Rev. Czeslaw Michal Krysa, who will relate how his father, Stanislaw, escaped from a Russian concentration camp during World War II and ended up serving in the Free Polish Army’s Karpathian Brigade during its campaigns in Palestine, North Africa and Italy, including the bloody Battle of Monte Casino.
Linda Pellegrino, an anchor at WKBW-TV, will serve as emcee.
Cheektowaga Town Justice Paul S. Piotrowski will conduct the installation of officers.
Rep. Brian Higgins, D-Buffalo, also will speak.
Krysa teaches at Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora, directs the Buffalo Diocesan Office of Divine Worship and is rector of St. Casimir Catholic Church in Kaisertown.
